DLR GfR at the ILA Airshow 2024: Premiere with its own booth

For the first time in its history, DLR – Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen (DLR GfR) is presenting itself with its own booth at the International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) in Berlin. Our booth is located in hall 4, number 421, and offers a platform for exciting discussions and exchanges about current developments and projects in space travel and satellite navigation until the end of the trade fair on Sunday.

The DLR GfR booth has already been visited by high-ranking personalities. During her visit to our booth, the Chairwoman of the DLR Executive Board, Prof. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla, emphasized the great importance of the Galileo project in the current geopolitically challenging times and highlighted our services in cooperation with Spaceopal.

Walter Päffgen (Managing Director of DLR GfR) took the opportunity to discuss the latest trends and innovations in space travel with Dr. Volker Wissing, Federal Minister for Digital and Transport.

Rodrigo da Costa (Executive Director of the European Space Program Agency EUSPA) and Christina Giannopapa also paid a visit to the booth. These meetings underline the importance of DLR GfR in the international space landscape and open up new opportunities for future cooperation and projects.

A highlight of the trade fair is the networking event on Thursday, June 6, 2024, which will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the DLR GfR booth. Under the motto “Networking at the heart of our space ecosystem”, all interested parties are invited to network and make valuable contacts within the space industry. This event offers a unique opportunity to find out about current developments and initiate new partnerships.

Visitors to the ILA 2024 are cordially invited to visit our booth in hall 4, number 421, until Sunday. Take the opportunity to learn more about our work, exchange ideas with leading experts and become part of our growing network.
