Paris Air Show 2025: A Strong Presence for DLR GfR at the German Pavilion
The Paris Air Show 2025 has drawn to a close – and for DLR GfR, the week was filled with exciting encounters, inspiring conversations, and strong international momentum. As part of the German Pavilion organized by the BDLI, we had the opportunity to showcase our expertise in secure satellite operations to a global audience in Hall 2C, Booth C343.
A Successful Kick-off
Right from Day 1, our stand saw high-level visits and enthusiastic engagement. We were honoured to welcome Prof. Dr. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla, Chair of the DLR Executive Board, and Magnus von Cramm, Head of Space at BDLI. Their presence underscored the importance of Germany’s space capabilities on the international stage.
Our interactive offerings also proved to be real highlights:
Visitors explored our mission through VR headsets, immersing themselves in the world of satellite operations, while our GfR prize wheel gave participants the chance to win exclusive goodie bags – and brought many smiles to our booth.
Highlights Throughout the Week
In the following days, we continued to welcome distinguished guests, including Benjamin David, CEO of XSun, Tobias Gotthardt, Member of the Bavarian State Parliament, and representatives of the German-French Business Club. Each visit sparked meaningful exchanges on the future of satellite services and cross-border cooperation.
During the Public Days, our booth was especially lively. Families, students, and space enthusiasts of all ages engaged with our team and technologies, making it clear how much curiosity and excitement space still inspires.
Looking Ahead
We leave Paris energized by the many new contacts and the great interest in our work. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us and made this event so memorable.
Next stop: Sydney! We look forward to continuing the international dialogue at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025, taking place this October in Australia.
Let’s keep exploring space – together.
