JASP-R 1.3 launched: Real-time protection against GNSS jamming & spoofing
Since the beginning of May, version 1.3 of our GNSS interference detection system JASP-R has been successfully in operational use. The platform enables the detection and monitoring of GNSS jamming and spoofing signals in near real time – directly from space and with global coverage.
A special milestone: Lufthansa, one of Europe’s largest airlines, is among the first major users of the service – a strong sign of the relevance and added value of JASP-R in the field of safe navigation.
JASP-R in live operation: Overview of detections from the last 30 days
A glance at the current user interface shows signal status information for the past 30 days – including numerous detections over Europe. This development is consistent with observations from other sources.
🟡 Yellow: Jamming activity
🔴 Red: Spoofing attempts
Outlook: JASP-R 1.4 expands detection capabilities
The next version is already in the works. With the integration of three additional satellites, coverage will be significantly expanded and detection capabilities further improved. Commissioning is planned for the end of the summer.
